Right in the middle of Passo Aprica at Mortirolo, famous for the crossing of Giro d'Italia, there is Trivigno, smiling place in the Alps surrounded by green.
In the past it was only a mountain summer pasture, now it's a wonderful place for holiday and relax for who would like to enjoy a peaceful time in touch with nature.
It's in this scenery, in a sunny and peaceful position, that Albergo Paradiso rises.
Run by the owners since 30 years, in a warm and domestic atmosphere, the Albergo offers a attend cooking, where you can discover again the flavours of our Valtellina's meals, such as handmade "pizzoccheri", "sciatt", "polenta", wild meat , local cheeses and salted meat.
You can book a stay in one of the 13 rooms, all with private bathroom and at your request also with colour television., or simply have something at the restaurant/bar.
During the summer season, Albergo Paradiso is open every day.
Directly from the Albergo you can enjoy several walking tours surrounded by the mountain scenery, indeed there are easy tracks for family, kids and elderly people, or cyclists.
During your walk you can have the possibility to see cows to pasture or go back home with a nice basket of mushrooms.
Trivigno, thanks to the fresh nights in summer, it's a wonderful option compare to a stay in the cities at the bottom of the Valley; it's in a great position for visiting places such as Bormio, Tirano, the tax-free area of Livigno, Passo Tonale and last but not least St.Moritz with the Bernina's red train.
Only 4 Km from Trivigno you can see the marvellous Natural Reserve of Pian di Gembro.
During winter, from October to May, the Albergo is open only during the week-ends and there is the possibility to rent the equipment for nordic ski in the track that is about half Km from the Albergo.
